LICENSURE AND EDUCATION
Katie Spata, L.Ac, is a licensed acupuncturist in Pennsylvania. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Women & Gender Studies from The College of New Jersey in Ewing, New Jersey and her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Warminster, Pennsylvania.
BACKGROUND & PHILOSOPHY
Katie first entered the wellness field through her training in Vinyasa yoga and Reiki, experiences that sparked her interest in holistic health and the body’s innate ability to heal. After struggling with chronic pain, she sought treatment as a patient and experienced firsthand the effectiveness of acupuncture. Her own treatments shaped her appreciation for mind–body medicine and ultimately led her to pursue formal training in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. During her graduate training, Katie also experienced two healthy pregnancies supported by regular acupuncture treatments, which deepened her understanding of acupuncture’s role in supporting reproductive and prenatal care.
Katie is committed to creating a comfortable, informed environment where patients feel supported and empowered throughout their care. She works with patients experiencing a range of concerns including pain, stress, fertility and hormonal health, digestive issues, sleep concerns, and overall wellness. Her goal is to help individuals better understand their health and develop sustainable strategies that promote balance, resilience, and long-term well-being.
