DAVID BENJAMIN BASS

EDUCATION

David Bass is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania, certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine. He completed his massage training at Lauterstein Conway School of Massage and received his Master of Science degree in Kinesiology from Temple University. David anticipates receiving his Master of Science in Acupuncture in the spring of 2026.

BACKGROUND AND PHILOSOPHY

I have been working and associated with Human Sciences since 2007 when I first started working at Temple Hospital during my Undergraduate Studies in Kinesiology at Temple University. I have always been curious about the human body and passionate about the healing processes. I gained a further understanding after graduating college by interning at a Hospice Care clinic, followed up with a companionship to a person with dementia. This eventually led my becoming a personal trainer.

After taking some time away from my profession as a personal trainer, I found myself at The Lauterstein Conway School of Massage in Austin Texas. My long term passion revived itself in the form of Self Care, a dimension of the Healing Arts I loved right from the beginning. I am now attending the Won Institute for Graduate Studies as a Student of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
